Hey Girls! :) Are you in the mood for something alittle sweet? If so you should totally try these cute and fun Cookie Monster nails! :) Not only are they cute but they are also really easy to do!

The nail polish I used is....

I used O.P.I Natural Nail Base Coat. as a base for all my nails. You can use just any Light Brown nail polish for the cookies...I used The color workshop...nail polish light brown. For the Chocolate Chips I used O.P.I Nail Lacquer Golden Sparkle nail polish.

Now for the cookie monster I used...Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear 04 Blue me away for the base! For the mouth you can use just any black nail polish....I used Icing fine-tipped brush...black. (To get the feeling of the mouth try to draw a D.)  Now for the eyes I just use the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear 300 White On and to top everything off I used Sally Hansen Diamond Strength 01 Flawless as my Top Coat!

Niftynails Tip: Do not put on the top coat until everything has dried....the mouth and eyes will smear and you will lose your affect of the cookie monster.)

Niftynails Tip: "With the nail Polish you don't have to use everything I have used. I mainly just used whatever I had.") ;)

This is how they turned out to look like....

Hey! :)  Awhile ago I tried to do some really cute Splatter Nails! If you like lots of colors then I am for sure you will love them! :) I hope you enjoy.

I used Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat for the base of my nails. Then painted my nails about 2 coats of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails-Xtreme 300 White On just to make it opiage. Then for the Splatters I used the colors of  Sally Hansen nails-Xtreme Wear 04 Blue Me Away, 27 Mellow Yellow! 129 Petites Rock N Red. :) To top it all off I Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat. ;)

Niftynails Tip: You don't have to use the colors I picked. You can always change it up. If you would like to.

This is how they turned out to look like....

I thought they turned out pretty well! I used a Tooth Pick to do the splatters!

Niftynails Tip: To make it easyer you could use a thin-tip small paint brush...that you can find at any local Craft store.

Remember they are quite Challenging so don't give up if they don't turn out so great the first time. :) (Believe me my first ones looked crazy! lol)

I hope you like them! :)

Lady Bug Nails! :)

Hello! :) If you love Lady Bugs I am for sure you will love my Lady bug nails! :) Here is a Step by Step on...How to do a Lady bug nails. :) I hope you enjoy.

I will be using is.... Revlon: Quick Dry Base Coat for my base of my nails. Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat for the top coat. Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer. Color: Ready to Mingle 330 for the body of the lady bug and.Kiss Nail Art Paint. Color: Black for the line and the dots.

Okay, Let's get started!

I always like to put on a Base Coat on my nail before I do anything. It keeps your Polish on longer and doesn't let it chip as fast. Once you have let your Base Coat Dry for about 5 minutes.

Paint 1 to 2 coats of any red of your choice on your nails. Today I'm using: Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer. Color: Ready to Mingle 330. :)

Once you have let your pretty red nails dry for about 5 to 10 minutes. Now it's time to add some style into your nails. This will really make it form into a Lady Bug.

Now it's time to Paint black polish on the tip of your nails. I am using a Small tip brush. If you don't have a small tip brush. You can use either a Tooth-pick or a small Paint Brush. That will work just fine! :)

Once you have painted your tips black. Now it's time to add a Thin black straight line down the middle of your nail! :)

Niftynail Tip: Remember this doesn't have to look perfect! Just try your best! :) Once you have let your nails dry completely. Add four dots on each side of your nails.

They should look like this! :) Wait about 10 minutes to let all the the polish dry.

Niftynail Tip: Make sure your nails are completely dry before putting on a top coat! if you black dots are still wet they will smear and get all over your nail.)

Put on a nice Top Coat of your choice! To let all your polish have a nice safe harden to keep it from chipping quickly.

Now your ready to show them off! :) I hope you like my Lady Bug nails!

Until next time....stay tune for some more Nifty Nails! :)
